All I have to say is WTF!
No kidding, kids in my Jr High would hug between every class....
What the!
Sounds like the people who wrote up the rules need to learn that hugging is good for you (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4131508.stm).
Also, ?Displays of affection should not occur on the school campus at any time. It is in poor taste, reflects poor judgment, and brings discredit to the school and to the persons involved.? What? Are they insane? Hugging someone to cheer them up brings discredit to the school?! Here I'm thinking that seeing loving, caring children at a school makes it seem like the kind of place I'd want to send my kid... Apparently they think exactly the opposite.
If I lived in the USA I'd hire a lawyer and fight the rule under Human Rights legislation.
QuoteApparently they think exactly the opposite.
For some reason they were told it was always sexual. ::) go figure. Wait a minute, what branch of Christians landed on the US first? n/m. ;D
