...so I thought it's my turn to bring everybody back to the satirical timesink.
job start (http://www.theonion.com/content/news/tragic_event_forces_man_to_spend) , job end (http://www.theonion.com/content/node/34072)
(having one of "those (http://www.google.com/search?q=case%20of%20the%20mondays)" days, I guess :P )
That Job End link is hilarious! I love how it's aggressive-yet-not...
Monday for me has been:
- Being first one in the office (ugh) and...
- finding the coffee maker unplugged (it takes 45 minutes for the reservoir to get up to temp from a cold start).
- finding the circuit that both fridges are on popped a breaker
- cleaning out said fridges
- finding the building guy to unlock the telephone room so I could flip the one breaker not in our office space breaker box
- finding out that someone pinched my mouse while I was away
- Having to sit here all day thinking about how awesome Bioshock is and how much I want to go home and play some more of it...
- Reiterating how awesome Portal was to someone who can't possibly run it...
- Something else horrible I can't say just yet...

That's a dig at me. That's sorta mean :( Especially since my old crate does match the minimum specs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_(video_game)): 1.7 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, DirectX 8 compatible video card, Windows 2000/XP/Vista. My XP3000+ is a 2+ GHz processor. I've got a 1024 MB of RAM. My Radeon 9800 is a DirectX 9 compatible video card. I've got Windows XP.

I
know you can run it, Mike R can't though. Not in a billion years.
