Finally got the 3 red rings... so guess I'm without my 360 for about 1 month :(. What will I do without my GH3 :(
Thankfully Microsoft did honour that 3 year extension for this problem, as my 360 has been off warranty for almost a whole year.

I think there's only one or two people I know who haven't gotten this.
Its a core design problem. Eventually the heat and stress on the components causes pins on the GPU to detatch from the PCB. If it _doesn't_ happen to your 360, you're either lucky, or haven't used it much.
This is supposed to be greatly greatly reduced with the new die size on the recent generation versions of the 360. I'm guessing, and with talking with Cova, this could still happen should the fans crap out in the system and/or it was in an area where the temperature would just continue to rise into the 30s or so.
