Figured this one will be hot topic, and know we have had numerous threads, but thought I would just start one on the game itself. Check out this dev diary: http://ve3d.ign.com/videos/28932/PC/Spore (http://ve3d.ign.com/videos/28932/PC/Spore)
Did that free creature editor widget come out yet?

Is spore rated yet? Look what has been created with the creature creator already.

should be purple.
PS: WOW! lots! (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Spore+Creature+Creator&search_type=&aq=f)
ROFL! Leave it to the Internets...
Well I played with the editor a lot already, and just pre-ordered it today if that tells you anything about the editor. Pretty well designed. Now I didn't go as far as the vids Lazy pointed out though!
So did you pre-order for PC, Xbox260 or PS3? That is one thing I have been thinking about... I am enjoying gaming the most on my 360, but I wonder if creating creatures will be harder with a controller.
PC, as I can play all three you listed on my TV :P. But really, I never liked The Sims, SimCity or anything like that on a console. So PC is my choice.
Ya, I believe it is coming out on Wii as well so I have PC, 360 and Wii as options.
The online component is passive with it downloading user creatures from an online database.. I wonder if all versions will use the same online database.
I think the Sporepedia is going to need some controls for censoring submissions

This I thought was neat:
QuoteHow do you see one of these Creatures in your Spore Creature Creator? Right Click on the thumbnail image of the creature. Save the image to your desktop. Drag the saved image from your desktop into the Spore Creature Creator. Voila! The Creature is in your game.

Well, give'em creds for creativeness, but yeah for a game that will have an E rating...
If you make Lego porn is it Lego's fault or yours?
Still... creepy... :barf:

Still not more terrifying than the goatse creatures. Yes, creatures, as in multiple goatse creatures. Many of them have already been taken down by YouTube, but some are still up. Take a look for yourself, theough you'll probably regret it
:o
So saw these posted on VE3D. Someone created the Election Candidates as space ships.

So with all the DRM crap with this one, EA finally smartened up and allows you to re-consume your activations.
