Many people in America are turning away from the use of ethnic adjectives to qualify their nationalism and there is a movement afoot to promote this feeling to more and more people. If you were born in America, why should you put your ancestors country or continent before your own? www.dropthedash.com (http://www.dropthedash.com/) is a website dedicated to this movement.
Nice idea (ignoring the obvious fact that its focus is on -"Americans"), and glad to see so many in the Amazon discussion thread agree that the prefixes are ridiculous and pointless, if not incendiary in some cases.
