Harold from Harold and Kumar plus Syler from Heroes in the movie. Hmmmmm.....
Check out the trailer... not sure myself about this one!
Just watched Trailer #2 (the new (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_(film)#Marketing) one); camera jerky-moves way too much (damn you Abrams!) and hearing Syler's VOICE (instead of a more monotone Spock-like voice) makes me also go hmmmmm.
But Scotty = SIMON FREAKIN' PEGG!
I'm there opening week.
;D
Well, opening week has been pushed back from Christmas to spring sometime.
How much you wanna bet the screen audience passed on it and it's going back for re-editing?
No, no, you've got it all wrong...
It's cuz (as they Officially Explained) they think it'll be more successful as a summer release... yeah, that's it...

Yeeaaaaaaaaaaaaah that's the ticket, that or in truth Captain Kirk's debut is as a ten year old warp racer who ends up embroiled in a conflict with the Trade Empire! Only Obi-Spock Kenobi can save him from the dreaded Darth Klingon and pursue his sweet, sweet loving of every female ever! The movie was so amazing that everyone died during the test screening and had to made into soup!
WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP whoop?
Seriously though, they should just get
Turkish Star Trek, re-dub it, and it would be a sellout blockbuster for sure!

I'm a bit more worried now that I found out the lead, Chris Pine (no, not Christopher Pike -- although that's a role that has a big-name actor at least) is being played by a guy whose biggest role so far (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0397078/news#ni0299349) is... wait for it... the "bad luck guy" opposite the "good luck girl" in some crappy comedy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0397078/) with Lindsay Lohan.
I wish I was kidding.
PS: I freakin' LOVE that Turkish ST that was on the Internets a while ago... it was so... passionate.
