The gameplay is similar to the intro movie and trailers:

If you interested give me a shout on Steam and we can kill zombies together.
- Chris
This game is good stuff. I got my pre-download completed yesterday. Maybe we could get together and shoot some zombies after my usual team scrim tonight?
I want to try this out, but not sure I have the time between so many other games :(.
Looks good though!
I should on-line tonight sometime from 8:30pm to about 11pm. If I'm not on Steam give me a shout via G-Talk. Maybe I'll try setting up a server but I don't promise anything.
I hate to say it but I am a little sick of Zombies... Already have to shoot zombie like creatures in fall out and almost every other horror style FPS.

Would you rather face skeletons and have your bullets do half-damage? Or amorphous blobs that take no damage from non-magical bullets?

Once in a while it would be cool!
I actually wish in Fallout that they had some kind of generated monsters that had different strengths/weaknesses.
In fact my only complaint with
Bioshock was how boring and relentless shooting splicers (zombies) was near the end.

YES, not all the time but YES.. I prefer fewer monsters that are harder to defeat, instead of just shooting everything in the head or the face, over and over.
'twere a little tongue-in-cheek D&D humour... :P But yeah, no matter what the game, paper or electronic, it gets boring fighting and killing the same kind of thing over and over. Which is why D&D's Monster Manuals always kept being pumped out.
I finally got to play Versus mode last night and try out the controls to play as one of "The Infected" on the enemy team. This is the bit of gameplay I was really looking forward to trying out. The zombie types control in an interesting way, my favourite being the pounce-attacking Hunter.
The easter eggs are fun too. The next time you go through a house, look for a box of cereal on the table. Have your textures set to high and look at the back of the box. Oh Valve!
Versus mode is great but I find it very hard to play the survivors when you have more then 2 real infected players. You can't just sit around as the enemy will keep re-spawning. You have to keep moving which is good on one hand but bad on the other.
I do love stalking someone as a hunter and patiently waiting for someone to become separated from the group. I'm going to Calgary this weekend but we should play some more next week.

Which is in turn a tribute to another TF2 comic that I'll have to dig out of the archives. Spy may be an easy punchline but he's well used when he "pops in unannounced". :D
Is there anything Spy isn't in?
