Possibly one of the stranger Christmas stories. I remembered part of it from when I was a kid and only through the power of the internet have confirmed I am not crazy and that it exists.
Really what other Christmas story has immortals fighting evil monsters in stop motion?

Exactly, however this one seems to be in very rare rotation, unlike Rudolf and Frosty.
I read the wiki entry... Wow! From 1902? Quite the story!
That was interesting to watch. Thanks for sharing!
There is a newer version that was made in 2000, I don't like it as much, still have a copy of the stop motion one in my collection.

Man, I have a soft spot for those old Rankin/Bass stop motion flicks.
Funny story, Billie Mae Richards (the voice of Rudolph) is a Canadian voice acting GOD, if you heard a female voice in a Canadian cartoon chances are it was her.

Ms. Richards (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0723982/) had a bright, tender heart.
