I hope they can make ads more relevant. The ads I setup on a wiki I host SUCK. There like 5 total even remotely relevant, and a few more that like to show up randomly from time to time for a total of not very many ads. Which means if regulars are the type that will go for ads, theres nothing new for them after the first day ::)

in the first month it almost made $100, the second month it barely broke the $100 mark, and ever since then Its earned a total of like $15 (1.5-2.5 months). Google's adsense really sucks when the people who use the site are really only interested in things related to the site (technical stuff). If I were running a general user type site, it wouldn't be so bad. but gah. Its ad targeting software blows.

In 12 years of surfin' the net I've clicked on a grand total of TWO ads, and only one because it was in German and the image looked insane...

A surprising number of people will actually click. Strange I know, but it helps me pay for my server ;)

And then there are the bots that "click" ads to increase revenues for the ad networks.  And one wonders how many degrees of separation there are between the bot owner and the ad network...
