okay not the most famous quote, but upon hearing of his death (at age 62!) I immediately thought of his over the top scenery chewing in "Time Cop" and half-thought "did he die by running into a future version of himself"?
Okay, bad taste, sorry. The guy played villains, but he was capable of far more than that. EW (http://news-briefs.ew.com/2009/03/ron-silver-dies.html?iid=top25-Ron+Silver+dies+at+62) has a blurb with some clips. The cause was cancer (http://news.google.com/news?pz=1&ned=us&ncl=1315647098&topic=e), btw, a 2 year battle apparently. More commentaries and tributes (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/paul-begala/a-tribute-to-ron-silver_b_175156.html) will surely follow in the next few days.

Yeesh, not only was he the villain in "The Arrival (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115571/)" (a surprisingly good "alien invasion" movie with Charlie Sheen -- seriously, decent acting and intriguing plot!) but also in the hit TV series with Jack Black and Owen Wilson known fondly worldwide as "Heat Vision and Jack" (his most famous role*)
*kidding, ldo.
Oooooooooooooooooooh. Right!
