MadTV is ending (http://tv.blog.imdb.net/2009/04/22/foxs-season-finale-schedule/) its run! Considering how it is consistenly funnier than SNL, and its music video parodies are so bang-on that often I see them FIRST before hearing the original song (let alone seeing the video they are making fun of) ... just, wow, I guess their decision to do the everything-pre-filmed adjustment to their production (to reduce costs) and the likely high cost for the cast (esp. Mr. MacDonald, who has been on almost the entire run) I guess it just ain't profitable for Fox anymore? But hey, it lasted a bit longer than Firefly. And [ insert link to that Family Guy Returns opening sequence ;) ]
