That Wonder Wheel doesn't sound all that cool when you're reading about it, but after actually trying it out I sorta like it.

Agreed. It's like an old Flash thingie I remember seeing years ago, with connected floating "bubbles" but here it's all DHTML and live search results, sweet.
The beauty of Google was that I could put in a simple set of search criteria and I'd get what I wanted in the results, advanced filtering seems nice but I doubt I'll use it very much. At least I hope I won't have to...
