...apparently inspired by this: http://www.gamecritics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16696 (in which a poster says "These also have things in common with Joseph Campbell's myth cycle and the basics of storytelling... what makes an adventure "original" is the ways in which it distracts us from the punchlines (which we already know)." ... good point? apparently Bioware, in its response, thinks so: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/bioware-defends-story-structure ...I agree that a form of these cliches, in the order presented, could also be applied to many other classic RPGs, including of course favorite, Deus Ex.)
