Wow, mind-bottling.

How many oldschool video games references can you spot?

one of the commenters mentioned a similar-feel music video, fascinating the common theme of videogames attacking the world...

Shaky cam?

*cough*

Other than that it was a bit of fun.

I thought certain aspects of the way the wide city shots were integrated with CG = very much a Neill Blomkamp style. Obviously not a big-budget project, but to me it is a solid production. And a little shakey camera work doesn't seem to get complaints from BSG fans, does it? ;)

I guess that's one of the MANY reasons I'm not a fan of BSG :D

Shaky cam in small doses (Saving Private Ryan) is okay but all the time? No. It sucks.

Unless there's perfect witty dialog and acting, i.e. Firefly. But agreed, when it's a gimmick, I *hate* it. Watched 5 minutes of BSG and was too much for me. I felt like I was watching "24". Without the gravitas. ;)
