According to a news release from CTV (http://ctvmedia.ca/ctv/releases/release.asp?id=12675&yyyy=2010) in Canada, they are launching a new cable specialty channel on 2 August 2010, to be called Comedy Gold. SCTV is among the "comedy classics" confirmed for the new channel.
