Ugh, this would be especially bad for me, I very easily get bright spots burned into my retinas.

I don't understand why anyone would be excited about having any part of an ad burned into their eyes for any amount of time. With my general hatred for ubiquitous advertising, I'd be pissed as hell that they pulled a stunt like that on me!
Especially if you had three or four ads that used the same technique in a row, maybe the words would merge?
