Title: Internet Explorer 9 doesn't Suck?
Post by: Lazybones on March 16, 2011, 02:54:11 PM
Some Notable things in IE 9:
- It benchmarks plugins / addons and will suggest slow ones that can be dissabled
- It warns you before enabling any addon that was installed since the last launch
- The "Tracking Protection" feature can be used to block ads with an easy list subscription http://easylist.adblockplus.org/blog/2011/02/10/easyprivacy-tracking-protection-list

These are some improvments I had not heard much about.. For those that NEED to use IE at work these are GREAT features!

FYI The official list for Easylist only does privacy protection, you can however get a more expanded list installed by going to this site http://tpl.funkydude.co.uk/ that has install links for a wider block list.
