some young punks might not get any feelings of nostalgia, but skimming the list (let alone clicking the detailed blogs for each song) I sure do!

plenty of cring-inducing cheese, obv... Jody Watley, Terence Trent D'Arby, etc. but some epic awesomeness (http://rulefortytwo.com/2011/02/03/1988-countdown-guns-n-roses-paradise-city/) too.

That's like I found this old cassette which I think had accidentally recorded radio for about 40 minutes or so from the early 80s. Very odd at best, but oh so fascinating :D

It's amazing how much music was a surprise to me or that I'd never heard of ... EVER not to mention the advertising which was EXTREMELY cheesy (country-western music to sell... Honda dirtbikes!)

you can click an entry, find the video on YT, and keep reading "chunks" then un-pausing/pausing the video -- I did that for Paradise City, kept having a bunch of "REALLY? I never noticed that before -- wow it IS in there!" moments :)
