Title: Humidex in Edmonton?
Post by: Thorin on July 18, 2011, 05:52:24 PM
I was surprised to find out that today was 26 degrees, 30 degrees with the humidex.  I'm not used to looking at the humidex rating in Edmonton, as opposed to the wind chill factor...

Dang it was hot and humid.  The next few days are supposed to be less hot but still humid, with storms in the latter part of the week.  Of course, as we all know any weather predicted past tomorrow might never come to pass.

Yeah.. I think it gets to like 60% + inside here. I've got my "dehumidifier" set to kick on at 60%, and it did once today I think. But heck, the weather including tomorrow may never come to pass. They can't even get that far in advance anymore.

Ha, it is humid here all the time. It takes some getting used to, especially in the winter when it makes things feel colder, it's like windchill that gets inside your house.

I kinda like humidity in the summer, not so much in the winter as Lazy says :)

I shoulda never said anything.  The weather this week has sucked worse than the heat!  Meanwhile Toronto has a humidex today of 36, and Montreal has a High Heat And Humidity Warning in effect because they think the humidex will hit 40!

I have a friend in Ontario, she said with the humidex it hit 40C at noon yesterday and stayed there all day...

That said I miss the sun, it's always out when I'm working it seems...

I just know it's gonna be super sunny for Fraga this year LOL

The sun was out today, stop your complaining!

You just had to plan your outdoor activities during that 17 minute window... beautiful day!

Not like you have something IMPORTANT to worry about, like these guys (http://www.edmontonsun.com/2011/07/22/rain-makes-guessing-critical).
