... I still remember #14 happening, that was a nerve-wracking weekend, the kids and I found out the next day that it happened the night before literally 100 feet from me (not them, though). These photos (http://www.lastlinkontheleft.com/e2011ambassa.html) are surreal to me, they are familiar surroundings that I see every day (my building is to the immediate "right" of the one in the photos, where the victim lived), and yet almost look to me like a Hollywood set due to the context. I wasn't home at the time, but when it happens in the building next to you it sure hits "home" so to speak.
Is there something in the water in E-Town? Or just lotsa drug- and alcohol- fueled stupidity/rivalry (http://www.edmontonsun.com/2011/08/02/breeding-ground)?
