Some seriously cool lines I think. And from 1934.
Now that's some cool wheels.
I saw a few cool cars yesterday, including a rare 1961 Ford Frontenac
Notice how long the hoods on those old cars were, the Duesenbergs, the Alfa Romeos, the Bentleys? Crazy!
A '61 Frontenac? They only made them for '60, I thought? Frontenacs were only sold in Canada, just like the Pontiac Beaumont. You could still easily get parts for both because both were based on cars sold in the US. Still, seeing a Frontenac's pretty darn uncommon!
The year was on the tail lights but yeah, it was basically a rebadged Ford Falcon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Fronten60.jpg
So many Maple leaves on the exterior haha (at least four on the exterior and one on the steering wheel). Looking at the Wiki article now it calls it a small-car (by 1960 standards) it looked pretty roomy in real life though.
Yeah, Large Cars from the 60s had room for you and about 18 of your friends - in comparison the "small cars" could only fit 5 or 6 comfortably.
