I would so do that! haha

Hey, so, side note, I've been contracted to create a half dozen backgrounds for a cartoon pitch. I made a Chris Reccardi/Scott Wills inspired test piece on Monday night for the hell of it and got quite a lot of immediate feedback (including this job offer).

Yep, heavily stylized Don Shank/Scott Wills designs with Reccardi colours, sort of like the backgrounds used in the 1994 "What-A-Cartoon" short "Buy One Get One Free" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wNoh-7uQ28

wow - VERY nice! Seems like (quality-wise, as well as style) something out of a megacorp animation studio, serious!

Can say the same thing about a handful of recent work @ http://deviantart.com/ -- hope this new project works out well for you, leads the way to even better opportunities, etc.

Thanks, the commissioner is a student so likely this will be one of his first pitches.

Still getting more detailed information, we'll see how this works out :)
