no, it's not Gary Busey or Chris Farley... but he certainly has their manic spirit...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItZyaOlrb7E <-- really picks up the pace around 1:00

(he even "plays well with others"; how often do you see "co-operative drumming"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxebUpRgdKc )
That is one seriously animated drummer!

Rowan Atkinson is also at the wrong gig (somebody forgot to bring his drums -- not gonna stop him from playing tho)...

...then again, who needs a "normal" drumkit?

_______
and thanks to YT related videos, I have discovered the "Hang (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hang_(instrument))" drum musical instrument, and one of the best, Mr. Manu Delago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17ojj7tgrqw
I like how he inverted the ride cymbal lol
I also like how he changed the resonance by raising / lowering the stacks of containers creating different pressures... a good drummer but a great ear for sound!
Pretty clever!
Rowan Atkinson - cute
That street drummer was amazing! He just keeps the performance going the whole time, even as he's adjusting his containers and switching sticks. Sure beats the street drummers we see outside of Rexall after a hockey game...

Those bongo guys? Yeah they suck BIG TIME. They suck so bad they are actually immortalized in a BtaF comic...

They used to play down on Whyte all the damn time (maybe they still do IDK)
Nah, I'm talking about the guy that has a few plastic pails taped together and bangs on them with a piece of wood. No real rhythm, though, so it sounds, well... not so good.

Oh, I haven't seen that guy, I always seem to see those bongo playing idiots though.
Still, probably not as bad as the out-of-tune singing lady who infests various LRT stations during the week...

At this point I think she does it on purpose to illicit sympathy.

I sincerely hope not, many times I've felt compelled to record her and play the sound back to her.
I mean like most people after doing something FOR A DECADE get better, she still sounds like someone beating a baby with a cat...

The only two scenarios that make any kind of sense to me are, either she's bad on purpose, or she's special needs, and doesn't know better. I prefer not to assume people are special needs, so that leaves being intentionally bad.
