Okay, standing in the area that a very sharp spear is supposed to land is a Bad Idea. I don't know why the athletics world continues to use human judges for this. Seriously, it's like having a guy stand next to the target at a gun range to tell you how close you got to the bullseye - if your aim's a little off, it's gonna hit the guy standing next to the target!
