That thread about the WoW theme park made me go look on Youtube. Once on there, a couple clicks in I was watching Japanese people playing soccer with binoculars strapped to their eyes: http://youtu.be/-rRK7vlBG8A. The first video is zany, the second is insane! Also, in the second the hip hop song that's playing mentions hockey and Wayne Gretzky. So maybe hockey is seeping into the American psyche...
