If anyone is as addicted as I am to CH, apparently the same folks are doing a new tongue-in-cheek parody series, this time the jabs are directed at news/journalism:

"Newsreaders is an absurd take on the television news magazine format, a show that goes behind the stories nobody else thinks are stories-because they're not."
My guess it'll be like "The Newsroom" (which I think was awesome), without taking itself anything CLOSE to as seriously. As much as I like Sorkin's work, I far more ENJOY what comes out of the minds and mouths of David Wain (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0906476/#Producer) and Rob Coddry (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1117791/#Producer)!
Most of the cast (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2166772/fullcredits#cast) = virtual unknowns, which might be awesome (i.e. recognizing/discovering some under-appreciated/up-and-coming talent) http://splitsider.com/2013/01/talking-to-mather-zickel-about-newsreaders-playing-bill-murray-and-going-to-college-with-the-state/
Weird, I hadn't really looked into this show before now: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Childrens_hospital

If you love to hate the later season of Scrubs for the formulaic storytelling and over-the-top cliches and intertwining character dramatics, and you love the style/pacing of most Adult Swim shows, CH will be an instant drug for your brain's laughing parts.

I guess I never got into medi-drama so it might be a bit lost on me
I recall reading a lot of heated words as both CN and Nick added "live-action" shows to their normally animated lineups a few years back though, holy crow.
