Title: Railway Expansion: Spawn City now connected to the Dragon Rail!
Post by: Thorin on July 26, 2013, 01:30:02 AM
-- For Immediate Release

US Rail (Usamot Southern Rail) today announces the completion of a project linking the north to Spawn City.  From the lower level of Grand Central Terminal, an underground / underwater railway now runs to the Dragon Rail as built by the great architect Snowie0wl!  It is now possible to ride nearly 1.5km to the north, fully ensconced in safe travel and with great sights to behold on the way, not least of which is the great dragon that winds through the water, the belly of which you travel through.

US Rail and it's parent company TIC (Thor Industries Corp) highly recommend Usamotians take a ride on the Dragon Rail as a vacation from the daily toll of swinging their pickaxes.

Upon further surveying, US Rail has found that with just two transfers it is now possible to travel about 4.7km north-to-south in Usamot.

Starting at the northern terminus of the Dragon Rail (coordinates 0,-1500 (http://mc.tomasu.org/#/0/64/-1500/max/0/0)), Usamotians can hop on a minecart and travel on a scenic route underwater and through a dragon tunnel to end up at the lower level of Grand Central Terminal (coordinates -19,30 (http://mc.tomasu.org/#/-19/64/30/max/0/0)). From there, it's a three-meter walk to the C Line, which will take you through Pineview Plaza, Platform 9 3/4, Southern Junction, and ends at Frontier Station (coordinates 54,713 (http://mc.tomasu.org/#/54/64/713/max/0/0)).

From there, walk about forty meters to the northern terminus of the G Line (coordinates 17,715 (http://mc.tomasu.org/#/17/64/715/max/0/0)) and descend to its lowest level. The G Line will take you way south, terminating at the Great Unfinished Rock Dome (coordinates 1042,2161 (http://mc.tomasu.org/#/1042/64/2161/max/0/0)).

4,700+ meters of movement with less than 100 meters of walking!
