Title: The Truth is Out There: 20 years of X-Files
Post by: Mr. Analog on September 10, 2013, 08:57:19 AM
It both feels like a long time ago and just yesterday that The X-Files debuted.

And yet, it was 20 years ago now

I think I may indulge myself in some X-Files goodness after work :)

So, what's your favourite first season episode?

No idea what seasons but the ones I remember are Fluke man, and the stretchy guy that ate livers... Of course I remember the black oil as well but those where not my favorites and where clearly in the last seasons.

I think the stretchy guy was actually in the first or second season :)

I liked the Halloween episodes the best.  Always a good laugh when they did one.

Season 1 is full of surprise appearances by then-unknown Jack Black, Seth Green, and Phoebe Buffay's little brother (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000610/#Actor), among others, that's kinda cool... That 1st season (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106179/epcast?ref_=ttep_sa_1#season-1), looking back, is like a reverse-FantasyIsland.
