Two genre defining games from completely different eras: Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. and Valve's Portal. These two games managed to give Platformers and First-Person Puzzle Games a solid place in the video game world. But what if Nintendo teamed up with Valve and recreated the famous Mario game with Portal gun mechanics?
A complete from scratch recreation of Super Mario Bros. with a focus on perfectly imitating the feel the 1985 classic gave us. Then give Mario a portal gun, add puzzle game mechanics from Portal and there you go. And if that wasn't crazy enough, play 4-player coop, with everyone having their own Portal gun!
Features
-Complete recreation of SMB
-Elements from Portal
...
-33 different hats
Yeah, its pretty cool. I'm sure there's a thread on the forums here about it some place.

I thought that too -- but 0 results for { "mario" and "portal" }
I searched for Portal Mario and got this -> http://forums.righteouswrath.com/index.php/topic,8992.msg63491.html#msg63491
:)
Ah...
Sure would be awesome if this forum software's search function didn't COMPLETELY SUCK -- because putting [ "keyword1" and "keyword2" ] in the search results in it saying "hey I know let's find any hits where ANY of those THREE words exist -- one of which is "and". ::)
But thanks, I just now did a re-search, via the "Advanced Search", and put just those 2 keywords in, "match all words" -- and hey guess what, I re-discovered this:

April 2011: Dorkly does a funny satirical type of video short with a fictitious Mario/Portal combo game (where Mario is a lazy asshole).
Mid-2012: someone actually MAKES THAT GAME.
epic speed-development!
Sometimes I do a google site search to find stuff I remember
site:forums.righteouswrath.com funky chicken
there is probably a plugin we could install to replace the forum search input with Google Site search... We seem to be heavily indexed by google so it should work well.
