Is the lack of CPAP because of allergies or because it's borkened?

My family's reacting pretty badly to the pollen counts this year.  In fact, I'm starting to think I'm allergic to the season...

I'm assuming you're suggesting I buy a dietary supplement that hasn't undergone any rigorous testing whose makers claim it helps with all kinds of things.  Looking at WebMD for Quercetin, http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-294-quercetin.aspx?activeingredientid=294&activeingredientname=quercetin, there's a long list of supposed treatments for which there is insufficient evidence of it doing anything at all.

I wish the government would come out and regulate the health food / dietary supplement industry, so that we'd know what we can actually trust.

Well all I can say is I personally never had hay fever in the spring until around 10-15 years ago, and soon after I tried a handful of the standard marketed pharmaceuticals, but none did much for me and were ridic expensive and seemed to require continual use. Not true on all 3 counts for the Q.

So, just sayin' --

Correlation is not causality.

The problem with alternative medicine.

Glad to hear it seems to work for you (or at least makes you feel like something's working, even if it's just your own body working despite the weird compounds you're ingesting).

For me, my statement stands - I wish there was regulation and proper scientific methods applied to testing to let us know whether claims made are actually true.

My weekend, went to Panarama, and threw out my back 3rd hole of The Point golf course on the first day... what a troubling drive back yesterday :(.

I'm just glad I'm on the mend finally. Hopefully I don't give away any colds on Friday

If so then you can blame the Outbreak Monkey (aka Darren) :P
