Did everyone get their 2016 Census letter with access code?  Did anyone get the long form questionnaire?  I did, I was surprised with the amount of details they asked about.  Hopefully all the data helps the government plan where to spend our money better.

I haven't opened mine yet, so can't say other than I received.

I just got the short form. Once in the past I remember getting the long form. Talk about LONG.

Used the website to fill mine out, it was pretty quick and easy.

If it isnt an inch thick, its probably the short form ;)

Well, I did ours online.  What I got in the mail was just a letter with an access code, so no, it wasn't an inch thick.

I got both. I've had a thicker envelope with a paper copy of the census for a while (also has an access code), where as the card with just the access code came late last week.

Oh wait, the envelope came when a person hung it on my door last week or so. I found it a little weird.

Mr. Analog

I have now gotten the long form THREE TIMES in a row

The gov can stick their census right up their asses.

So 2016, 2006, 2001?  The 2011 census didn't require a long form questionnaire be filled out by anyone.  Also, the short form isn't that much shorter than the long form, really.  Also also, the hard part for me was filling in the data for people who are not me.  Easier online than it would've been on paper, I suppose.

The first time I got it was shortly after I moved out, I hadn't ever done the census before and had no idea it was the long version until I talked to a co-worker about it

Then in '06 I just tossed it in the trash and had the census worker come knocking on my door a few times trying to catch me and we had to go through it AT THE DOOR (that was fun)

I'm glad its online but I'm sick of filling out all these details
