QuoteWe've been hearing rumblings about an X-Force film for a few years now, with series creator Rob Liefeld praising a screenplay penned by Kick-Ass 2 helmer Jeff Wadlow back in 2013. The following year, Liefeld said the film may have been shelved following 20th Century Fox's announcement of X-Men: Apocalypse.

Together this sounds like the worst of all possible combinations of anything

I will say this, whenever I feel down about my own artwork I look at Rob Liefeld and remind myself that he got paid by Marvel -and went to print- with unbelievably bad art

I saw it last night, and I was blown away - far exceeded my expectations, and I pretty much never stopped laughing.  And best intro credits ever!

And like most Marvel movies, stay till after the credits.

It's broken a lot of records already, certainly something to go see!

I wish I saw less if the trailers because as you said plenty of hilarity but too much was spoiled for me.

But I was laughing out loud LOUDLY during those opening credits! That really set the tone.

PS simple storyline though, like a single short comic issue. But the framing of time jumping around was really well done "...and now you're all caught up!" :)

I wonder how much extra budget they will get for sequel #1 #2 #8 ... because there is no limit to how much they could stretch this franchise imo.

Maybe eventually "rhymes with pulverine" would cameo ;)

For me the Trailers didn't spoil much even though I'd seen so much before.  I laughed just as hard in the Movie as I did when I saw the Trailers, maybe more so based on the mood the movie had set.  But each his own.

I would say if you liked any Trailer for Deadpool you will enjoy the movie.

I would put it in the following location on my movie scale, between these two descriptions:

Excellent
    Deadpool
Great
Good
Ok
Meh
Not Worth Seeing
WTF Were They Thinking
Not Interested

The "Grexcellent" (see above) film gets the "Wisecrack: Philosophy of..." treatment. And it's quite well done.

Makes me re-examine various other "meta" iconic art of the last few decades (most of which I *love* ... so does that make me a hipster? :-P )
