Small issues with Level3 today.

Actually the main issue is a DDOS attack against DYN https://www.dynstatus.com/

They host Twitter, GitHub, Netflix and many other big names DNS records.

Normally they brush these attacks off.

Apparently its big enough to knock out level3 tho. People are reporting not just no connection, but slow connections to places.

Last news I heard was investigation into this as an infrastructure attack coupled with DDoS (mind you there's so much speculative garbage flying around right now who knows what)

Moving on to attack wave three, apparently they are using IoT devices they have exploited.

Sounds like they are just escalating. Last big attack was IoT devices as well.
