Windows 10 News & Interests memory leak

So since the last windows update I've noticed my machine behaving funny after a few days of being on, I discovered the root cause today while I was doing some artwork... turns out 99% of my memory was in use (and climbing) the culprit? News & Interests

After some googling I found that others have had the same problem and that there's no apparent fix other than to disable it.

Can't believe there's a gigantic memory leak in something that runs in the taskbar...

I am on windows 11 now for both home and work.. My work computer occasionally doesn't load the task bar on login. lol.
