Darren's Story

So I'm in one of my Hotmail accounts and I notice the # of pages in the junkmail folder is 46.

At 20 messages per screenful, if I had been drinking at the time I woulda done a Danny Thomas spit-take.

I changed my mail display options so I saw 100 at a time. 10 pages.

Nearly all of them dated May 4th and May 5th. 73KB in size. Containing an attachment. Opened a couple, vastly different subjects and senders and even body contents. ZIP file.

I personally have never seen a virus spread this fast. Insane, I tell ya.

Check your own junk mail accounts, people, if you have one. Look at the genius behind the virus writer, evil genius that is. Sometimes looks like a "registration information attached", sometimes "your email was blocked", sometimes "here are the droids you are looking for".

Creative, that bastage. :P

My Telus accounts have been pummelled, one account I don't even have posted anywhere (I used to use it for server notification) and I get over 1000 pieces of feces a week.
