Interesting that an Adventure game might be worth playing in the present day.  Beyond Good and Evil wasn't bad, but didn't quite hold it for me.  There is another I tried, but alas not so go either.

But then this one is getting released this week.  Sounds like you want to get your hands on the European version as it will be uncensored, vs the American on that will undoubtedly have things removed.  Check out this review: http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=60494.

Didn't think I'd ever look forward to an adventure game again, but I must say this one has peeked my interest.

2 things I think I would get tired of:

-some of the puzzles look like the old arcade game "Track & Field" (i.e. push left + right buttons quickly in succession for extended period of time)

-some of the puzzles look like Dragon's Lair, or the handheld electronic "Simon" or "Merlin" (i.e. push a button/direction soon after the screen flashes to tell you which one to do)

Looks like an action-filled movie, hopefully not too linear and un-replayable, could reignite interest in adventure games! :)

I was gonna play Burnout, but i had this game on the drive, and i thought id give it a quick once over...6 hours later!!! im amazed.  Simply one of the best games ive played in a very very long time.  Original, Beautiful, Voice Acting is A+++.  I cant wait to see how it ends!!!

Oh, and its sort of a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure in how its dialog and important sequences work out.  Nifty.

Still havent played any Burnout Revenge

I might have to check this out, I have always had a love for adventure games.

Found a PC version of this game, but its a bit different: http://www.atari.com/indigo/

Called Indigo Prophecy.  Same thing applies, if you can get a hold of the European copy, then you won't be missing some content.

Damn lazy bums -- the exact same Flash content on the official site, describing story and characters, and yet they did make the amazing effort of changing the title at the bottom, at least :P

hrm....*gets the exciting adventure game itch*

I soo miss adventure games, I was so upset when they stopped making Gabriel Knight games, and Liesure Suit Larry (I don't count the last one as it wasn't Al Lowe and completely blows in my opinion, more like a computerized drinking game than an adventure game)

Gonna have to give this one a go!

*rushes off to see if she can find the european version* sensors...bah!
