So I was driving to West Ed to go see Superman Returns at Silver City.  As we're driving down 170th Street south of 118th Ave, my oldest girl says, "<friend's name> said there's a prison just for women here somewhere".  That leads to my kids guessing why boys and girls are kept in separate prisons.  My five-year-old comes up with the idea that if boys and girls were in the same prison, they'd make babies!  Pretty much bang-on, but how the hell does a five-year-old even get that concept?

<shakes head in disbelief>

Hah!  I blame the country music.  My six-year-old can sing almost all of "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On", which includes the line "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Come Off".

Also, while sitting in the movie theatre waiting for Superman Returns to start, one of those "about the star" questions came up.  The question was, "What does Rosario Dawson not see herself as yet?".  The answer was, "Sex Symbol".  Damn kids had to go and ask me what a "Sex Symbol" is...  Damn kids know how to read.  Damnit.
