Gratz to both yourself and the wife (you know, the one who did 99% of the work :P)! You are offically a "big" daddy!

And congratulations, Thorin, on the addition to your new brood.  You've got enough kids now that, when they're older, you can form a curling team, a D&D group, or maybe a miniature zerg rush with 'em :)

Thorin

Heh, thanks guys and gals.  I forgot how much I know about those first few weeks of taking care of a newborn :P

Two more and we have an ironman hockey team.

But what I'm *really* holding out for is just *one* to turn into a multimillionaire and take care of their folks in our old age...

Grats and egad! Enjoy the fat wallet you're gonna have for only a few more years -- I'm happy with 3, I can still afford 'em. ;)

Fat wallet?  What?  Where?  I don't have any money, really.  As much as I might be making, we always seem to be spending a little more than we make.

Which is a funny point to make - a friend came by to see the baby.  She's complaining they can barely afford their bills.  Now, they make 75% more than us but are no further ahead.  In fact, after hearing the story of their eight-year-old walking across town to get to his dayhome because he accidentally transferred to the wrong bus (the one to take him to his own house), I think they might actually be living a worse lifestyle.

So, having a fat wallet is all about keeping track of what you spend as a percentage of what you make, rather than just trying to make as much as possible.
