So my RSS feed says that VE3D has some new STALKER shots, i recall about 3 years ago this game was just looking awesome.  It was just so far ahead of everyone else in terms of graphics and environments.

Well, these new screens are looking pretty ugly now.  We saw nextgen graphics in Gears, and I'm sorry to say, STALKER just doesn't look like its living up to it anymore.  The bar has been set pretty high.

Are we still looking forward to this game?  I'm sure that I will install it and give it a few minutes to impress me, but from a book by its cover standpoint, its not getting me nearly as excited as it did in 2002.
