BitTorrent, Inc. and ?Torrent AB have decided to join forces

So instead of a crappy python script it looks like ?Torrent will become the base for the official client in the future.

Mean while

Azureus 3.0 aka Zudeo is out

http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

Strange strange times.

Great news...I think.  Ive used utorrent exclusively for a long time now and can't imagine using a different tracker (granted i did have to find a work around for the RSS)

Tom

Thank god they are finally dropping the originall client out on its ass.
<Zapata Prime> I smell Stanley... And he smells good!!!

Thorin

Wow, a lot of people took that very negatively in the uTorrent forums...
Prayin' for a 20!

gcc thorin.c -pedantic -o Thorin
compile successful

Now that I have 2 GB of RAM in my home system I don't even notice Azureus higher memory use.

I downloaded Zudeo and am testing it out. Basically just another tab / view in Azureus that is setup with image thumb nails for available content.

I downloaded the Halo 3 trailer and the Halo wars Trailer in HD from it, both where hosted videos. I was getting over 5Mbits/second on these downloads, they took next to no time to download. Regular torrents where still about the same speed, but it appears that premium content will have super high speed seeds available.
