Recently a Starbucks opened on our block, the effects have been quite amusing but it makes me think about where people go to get their coffee on :)

Starbucks is way to expensive for my taste.  As well I am not into the gourmet coffee.  A large double double is all I need.

Once in a while I'll treat myself to a Mocha at Second Cup or McBean's :)

I don't drink coffee.  If the wife's going for her large double double I might get a peppermint tea.  At Starbucks I would get a Green Tea (with that weird green food colouring in it).  Now, if they had eight flavours of Coke?

Lazybones

vanilla latte at starbucks or a double double at Tims
I pass three Starbucks on my way to work

Lazybones

i can only afford starbuck as a treat once and a while
the coffee at the office is starbucks anyway, but i don't really like their regular stuff.

Mr. Analog

Man, I so have a related pic for that...

As a certified Canada-tan I attend the Church of Canada regularly for a double-double or a mocha cappuchino (w/ toppings or French Vanilla). Timmy coffee is more on the sweet side by default and needs litte additional sweetener, even if I get it added anyways.

I've been to Starbucks only a few times. They're a bit expensive and I find the coffee is a pedal-to-the-metal experience in itself. That can be a negative thing if you get caught in a situation where you don't want to be in NOX mode. I've also got to watch it on the more dairy-heavy beverages. I'm lactose intolerant and if I have a large (venti) latte from Starbucks it's enough to trigger a reaction.

Coca-cola Orange led to one not on the list: Coca-cola Light Sango, one of the many blood orange flavour drinks we don't get over here (much like Orangina Sanguine, grumble grumble).

Thorin

I would drink

1. Coca-Cola Vanilla
2. Coca-Cola
3. Passover Coca-Cola

I would try

4. Coca-Cola with Orange
5. Coca-Cola with Lemon
6. Coca-Cola with Lime

The other two on the menu would be Diet Cokes for those watching their caloric intake

7. Coca-Cola C2
8. Diet Coke

Still, I wouldn't go out of my way to go to a coffee shop for these drinks...

I did this picture a day before I got my free coffee as a bit of a joke, there seemed to be somewhat of a karmic realignment though and the coffee I was given was absolutely delicious and now I too am one of the borg (I boughted me a cup of mermaid juice this morning... as a treat of course).

Enjoy!

Mermaid Juice?  Is that slang for Starbucks coffee?
