So just for kicks I through I would post a pic of a little project I was playing with this weekend.

Looks like it is just OSX installed on VMware Workstation

I do that everyday, but not in a VM :P  (play in OSX).  I will probably be ditching my high end workstation (new server) in favour of an iMac when I move to my new place this winter.  I just prefer the "day-to-day" functionality in OSX and with Parallels I don't loose the use of windows programs.  To each their own though.

It IS OSX running in VMWare...

I wanted to play around with OSX to see if it was worth me purchasing a Mac down the road here. After playing around a little I am having trouble adjusting to the menu buttons on the left side of windows and other various Mac UI differences. The one thing that REALLY gets me is that maximizing apps does not fill the screen.

I ordered OSX 10.5 during the preorder event on the Apple website about 2 weeks ago (free overnight shipping, in your hands on Friday).  Just got it from Purolator about 10 minutes ago, he told me I'm at least the 20th hes delivered this morning.  Thats more then I recall seeing at Best Buy doing the Vista release and that was a whole new OS rather then an upgrade to an existing.

Is there an implication in that post, Shayne?  I'm asking because I can't tell from the tone of the post...
Prayin' for a 20!

They are very common in the business world now for sales staff. Nearly every vendor that has done a presentation for us in the last few months (other than Dell) has had one among the team.

Not really a tone, more of an observation.  I'm a fan of neither I just use them for my day to day business (Vista/XP) and pleasure (OSX).  Was sorta shocking that their was that many preorders for what appears to be a more crippled and crippled "upgrade".  I only got mine as I didn't have to pay for it.

When I was doing my "training" at Upside to be an Inside Sales person I was sort of a black sheep with my white Apple (running Windows mind you).  Its just a computer, i wanted something small and light, and no other manufacturer at the time had one.  I do like that new Dell M1310 though.
