Patrick McGoohan dies at 80

Emmy-winning actor Patrick McGoohan, best known for starring in cult 1960s TV show The Prisoner, has died at the age of 80.

This is a great loss if you are a fan of quality UK programming from the 50s/60s, particularly Danger Man, Secret Agent and of course landmark series The Prisoner.

He will be missed...

There will no longer be any trips to FANTASY ISLAND either:

Ricardo Montalban, the Mexican-born actor who became a star in splashy MGM musicals and later as the wish-fulfilling Mr. Roarke in TV's "Fantasy Island," died Wednesday morning at his home, a city councilman said. He was 88.

Sadly.

But WOW maybe he was genetically modified, the man was eighty-freakin-TWO when he starred in the last "Spy Kids" movie. Talk about stamina. I'll be happy if I can still hold a book up to my barely-working eyes when I'm 82.
