Blood Bowl

Anyone ever exposed to this game?  Basically it is Fantasy Football.  It started out as a board game, evolved to a video game, and is now being release on the next gen consoles!

I never got to play the board or '95 video game, but did however have a blast for many hours on Mutant League Football for the Genesis.

Should the 2009 game be anything like Mutant League, I'm sure it will be a winner.  Check out the links, and let me know if you have had any experience with the previous iterations of the game.  Sounds like it will be real time based and/or turn based... not sure how that works, but then again if it is based off a board game, it must work somehow.

If you watch the Teaser (wow I'm taking a play out of DD's post book), you can see that it even has cheerleaders and bands!

I also read that the game developer gained the rights to create the game from an undisclosed settlement over a similarities lawsuit between the developers game Chaos League and the Blood Bowl franchise by Games Workshop.  Very interesting way this new video game came about.
