Cool "research/timewasting" resource! http://debategraph.org/

"A wiki debate visualization tool"

Try initially clicking the Big Red Circle to "zoom out" to the "Debategraph: Categories" view. Then "surf" to your curiosity's content, as this is quite an interesting (and time-efficient! vs. Wikipedia, lol) method of quickly (Big Circle = "back" button) skimming thru the various sides of a debate topic :)

"can computers think?" can be found under Philosophy : Artifical Intelligence.

There's even quite a bit of info on the "Falsh vs. AJAX -- which is better" debate (!)

PS: the "text search" is horrible, esp. when entering a multiple-word phrase. Even just typing "intelligence" you get quite a mess of results.

It's a tough question really, if we made something so sophisticated that it passed Turing tests and could fool humans with it's artifice how could we be sure that it actually had self awareness or not?

It boggles the mind...
