I'm sorry, you can't use "Carson" to describe any other show but THE Carson. (ie: Johnny Carson)
<Zapata Prime> I smell Stanley... And he smells good!!!

^Weird Al*, returning to his classic form (taking a well-known popular song and nailing the sound of it but improving it with thought-provoking and laugh-inducing lyrics!) in "Word Crimes"!

* Amazing, that weird dude is close to 60 years old, and yet somehow he still excels in connecting with the young 'uns without being tacky!

I could have sworn we had a thread about this already but yeah! He actually hit the Billboard with his latest releases, something he hasn't been able to do before

AWESOME!

Amazing for real though how Al has stood the test of time for so many years -- I wonder if Dr. Demento* realizes the impact he had creating this unimaginable huge parody monster? ;)

That new album WOW it earns its name -- on my lunch hour I've been watching virtually every song's video, they got released on Youtube all at one time, gotta admit that's handy!

*actually I'm quite sure he's super-aware of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3vBvlT1i_k#t=3m06s ;)

Yep! So much goodness in this release

Um, I thought it was that he topped the Billboard album chart with this latest one?  Didn't his first album hit the Billboard 200, and have one of it's singles ("Ricky", I think?) get into the top 10 or 20?

I really like First World Problems because he acts absolutely crazy in the video.  I also really liked White And Nerdy, and most of the Straight Outta Lynwood album it was released on.

If this is turning into a Weird Al discussion, maybe we should split the thread.

Maybe... just start the split after I linked to the "Word Crimes" video, because I want that to stay here in this thread which has become the place for that subject (e.g. during forum flame/troll wars you can be reminded to link to TheOatmeal, AngryFlower, and now WeirdAl) ;)

Mandatory Fun was his mandatory accomplishment to finish up his 14 album contractual obligation (only took a bit over 30 years!) and btw in case you didn't know (like I didn't know) the accordian clown won a Grammy for it! (speech!)

PS: still think split makes sense...

Still kinda head-asploding, now a Grammy Award winner, wow the under-appreciated clown (until this album!) sure has come a long way from eating sauerkraut for breakfast.
