You would be incorrect in doing so, the correct post would be "+0.9999999999999...!"

If you're not going to use the correct indicator to show that the digits repeat unto infinity, then you're nothing but a math hipster trying to look nerd-cool.  I would have also accepted a line over the last 9 to indicate its repeating status, but that's hard to post in these forums.
