Another enterprise technology now available open source.

Seeing that I am always running out of space at home I figure this should cut down on space my VMs take up as well as allow me to keep more backups at a time.

Might have a use for it at work as well for some less critical data (project is fairly new)

Obviously not going to slim your home media collection size but still handy. You could probably store several full desktop machine images on this with a fraction of the disk space required.
