Just to make sure you noticed, this is not the source code for Visual Studio, but rather the source code for Visual Studio Code, a separate program that does less (looks like it's only aimed at web- and cloud-based app development).
Prayin' for a 20!

gcc thorin.c -pedantic -o Thorin
compile successful

Yes, it's VS Code, which was in the title :)

This is NOT source to Visual Studio

I don't want them to OSS that because it might unleash demons unto this world

If you said this to me 15 years ago I would have choked on my coffee

Okay well put the coffee cup down, because Google is teaming up with Microsoft (for the next release of AngularJS using Microsoft's TypeScript ... after Google dropped "AtScript" which extended TS now they just threw that stuff into the latest TS).

Microsoft.FreeVS or Microsoft.HighProfileOpensource = yeah this a unique time in tech history.

I'm really liking AngularJS it is surprisingly easy to work with

There would have been less confusion if the headline was "VS Code" but then it would be less click bait-y ;-)
