I had to watch both trailers and then only at the very end of the second one did I see Spiderman.

Also, Tony Stark saying that he needs someone giving him permission to do stuff? Huh?

The trailer seems to show that the movie may be faithful to the comics... which would be nice

Oh yeh at first I was like "how did Marvel pry Spiderman out of Sony's hands?" and then I remembered THE DISNEYCORP

Yeah, the new Spiderman was done much better than the early 2000s Spiderman.

Err, I was making sure we were talking about the same Spider-Man movies (why the hell don't they call it Spiderman like we all know it's supposed to be?). So there's the Tobey MacGuire Spider-Man 1, 2, and 3 from the 2000s, that's what you must be talking about. Then there's the Andrew Garfield Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 from the 2010s, which I thought were good. And now there's another new Spider-Man acted by Tom Holland? Did not realize that! I thought the Amazing Spider-Man movies were already part of the MCU...

Sony has had a stranglehold on both Spiderman and X-Men, which is why the Disney/Marvel movies seem to lack some of the most iconic heroes

It is also why no one is called a mutant in Agents of Shield or any of the MCU movies.

Yeah this new Spiderman will be fully MCU integrated. The Amazing Spider-Man of late wasn't in the MCU, otherwise I'm sure they would have mentioned something about the Avengers and New York City getting demolished like they do in all other MCU streams on the TV/Big Screen.

But yeah Sony has had the creative license on loan from Marvel since before Disney bought them out I believe. Now that Marvel has say in the creative content around Spiderman, its all going to be part of the MCU; even when Sony releases their own new Spiderman movie, it will be with Marvel content peeps all over it and in the MCU (at least that was the latest I read about it).

Well no, because that version of Spider-Man is owned by Sony (aka Columbia Pictures)

The problem is that Marvel sold the film rights for X-Men, The Fantastic 4 and Spiderman to 20th Century Fox and Sony ages ago, those deals have not yet run out, but Marvel was bought by Disney who likely brokered a deal with Sony to get Spidey in the movie, I'm guessing some kind of backroom property deal as Sony has spun off SCEI into its own company (exclusive rights for some future Marvel / Disney related games perhaps?)
